The Fremantle Corporation was founded in 1952, by the late Mr. Paul Talbot, an innovative New York based media pioneer. Mr. Talbot was a leader in the export and formatting of television shows and built the company on the principles of honesty and respect. His traditions and values are shared by the company’s new owner, Toronto based Kaleidoscope Entertainment. The Fremantle Corporation joins Morningstar Entertainment, Venture Licensing and KEI Productions, as an integral part of the Kaleidoscope group of companies. Founded in 1982, Kaleidoscope Entertainment Inc. (KEI) is a Toronto based, owner operated, independent Canadian boutique entertainment company. Over the years KEI has evolved from a traditional domestic Canadian television program distributor into a diversified, multi-faceted entertainment company with unique expertise. In May 2006 KEI Productions commenced preproduction on a firm 22 x 60’ primetime romantic vampire series “Blood Ties” for Chum Limited. A US broadcaster is expected to be announced shortly.
