Based on the classic novel by Captain Marryat, SETTLERS IN CANADA. Shot in the wilds of Scotland and Canada, this is a live-action adventure show about a Scottish family who, early in the 19th Century, decide to live in the wilderness of a Canadian forest. The head of this pioneering family is a doctor, played by British actor Malcolm Stoddard.
