In the area around The Devil’s Spine and Butch Cassidy’s Outlaw Trail, search and rescue action is all in a day’s work for head ranger Dr. Marcus Green, played by Chris Gann (“24”, “CSI” & Sony’s “XXX” ) and his partner Randy Rover, played by the iconic Fred Williamson (“Starsky and Hutch”, “From Dusk Till Dawn”).

In the feature film, three twenty-something mountain bikers go missing in a remote canyon. Dr. Green and his rangers are called into action with every minute counting if there is to be a rescue, just as Tommy Green (Gabe Antonelli), the son Doc never knew he had, shows up at his doorstep.

CANYON RANGERS is both family adventure and search and rescue excitement, featuring a unique cast of regulars. In addition to Dr. Green, Tommy and Randy, characters include: Ashlee Hunter (Rebecca Peterson), Tommy’s best friend and Kelly ‘Adventure Girl’ Hunter (Jenna Hawkins) Ashlee’s mother, Dr. Green’s potential love interest and owner/ proprietor of Adventure Girl Inc., the area’s leading outfitters and tour guide specialists. The cast also includes Uncle Frank (Ray Johnston) a Native American who has a special relationship with Tommy and is the Ranger’s link to the regional history, mysteries and legends, and ‘Lucky’ - the best friend a boy could have on four legs.
