(Toronto, ON – March XX, 2009): The Fremantle Corporation is proud to present
WONDERS OF THE WORLD CONCERT FILM MUSIC SERIES produced by WOW MUSIC GROUP and WOW MUSIC INTERNATIONAL. A collection of whimsical and outstanding musical concerts filmed at some of the world’s greatest attractions including the Great Wall of China, The Alamo, The Grand Canyon, Mount Rushmore and many more.
Filmed in HDTV-digital sound, WONDERS OF THE WORLD CONCERT FILM MUSIC SERIES (12 one hours?) showcases international and acclaimed talent from Alicia Keys to the Gypsy Kings, captivating audiences with their musical gifts in glorious settings and locations.
The Great Wall of China and Alamo concert films are completed with 10 more concert films in pre-production.
The monumental “Great Wall Concert” is the first international pop concert to be produced at the Great Wall of China. The Great Wall Concert features world-class artists, Alicia Keys, Eric Clapton, Boyz II Men, Cyndi Lauper, Nellie McKay and Doyle Bramhall II performing their greatest hit songs under the magnificent grandeur of the Great Wall. The Great Wall Concert also features an HD documentary including, enlightening footage of the Great Wall, the City of Beijing, the Ming Tomb, interviews with Great Wall historians, artist tours, as well as light-hearted, man on the street comedy throughout the City of Beijing.
In another concert series, “Remember the Alamo” tribute is paid to the historic Alamo shrine and the City of San Antonio in a performance event made of the history books. The concert, featuring Lyle Lovett, the Gypsy Kings, Los Lobos, the Arc Angles and Paul Rodriguez, retells the story of the incredible 13-day battle that took place on these hallowed grounds and serves to further solidify the Alamo shrine as a historical wonder of early American culture. All artist performances were filmed and formatted in HD for network broadcast and DVD including an HD documentary on the Alamo shrine, downtown San Antonio, the San Antonio Riverwalk, the Menger Hotel and “Fiesta” San Antonio. Reunion at the Alamo captured the sights, sounds and animation of San Antonio including artist interviews, historical tours and lighting hearted comedic pieces by Paul Rodriguez.
WONDERS OF THE WORLD CONCERT FILM MUSIC SERIES showcases the works of a cross-section of the world’s highest caliber musical talent from rock, R & B, pop, classical, Latin and comedy. These films deliver magnificent locations, sights, sounds, and music!
